Registration is open! Is your child an entrepreneur?
Your child can have their own booth this October,
They can sell what they make, and keep every dollar of it.
Kids Markets are real markets run entirely by kids ages 5 to 17. They pick the product, set the prices, run the booth and talk to the customers — parents are there for moral support and heavy lifting. Three are coming to our area this month, and booths are limited!
Slime, baked goods, bracelets, painted rocks, 3D prints, a company they announced at dinner last week — if your kid makes something, there is a booth for it. And if yours is the shy one, that is a reason to sign up, not to skip it.

Kids Markets
Kids Markets runs kid-run markets where children ages 5 to 17 sell what they make and keep everything they earn. KidsMarkets.com › |
How it works
1 · Register online. Pick the market you want and reserve your kid's booth.
- 2 · Use the free curriculum. Registration comes with a guide that walks your child through choosing a product, pricing it, and getting ready for the day.
- 3 · Set up and sell. On the day, they run the booth and make sells.
- 4 · They keep every dollar.
Kids Markets runs these events across the country — more than 1,300 markets in 510 cities so far, with over 61,000 kids having taken part. Three of them will be in the Roseville-Rocklin-Lincoln area this month!
ROCKLIN · Friday, Oct. 16
Part of Evenings in the Park — so there is already a crowd, which is exactly what a first-time seller needs!
LINCOLN · Sunday, Oct. 25
Inside the Fowler Ranch Pumpkin Patch & Farmers Market — pumpkins, a farm, and a morning slot!
ELK GROVE · Friday, Oct. 30
Part of Movie in the Park. It is a drive from here — worth it if your kid wants one more market before the season ends.
If October fills up before you get to it, there is already another Lincoln market on Sunday, Dec. 13, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., back at Fowler Ranch Farm Brewery — a good one for a kid who wants to sell handmade gifts.
